Actress Han So-hee has unexpectedly found herself at the center of controversy after she pressed “like” on a post by Reform Party leader Lee Jun-seok, who shared a handwritten apology letter from a student that had spread false claims about him online.

On October 6, Lee Jun-seok took to social media to refute baseless rumors suggesting he had followed explicit accounts on Instagram. Along with his statement, he revealed a handwritten letter of apology from the individual responsible for spreading the claim.

“There are absurd rumors going around that I followed obscene accounts on Instagram,” Lee Jun-seok wrote. “These claims have been continuously circulated by certain political supporters. Once I announced legal action, one of the perpetrators sent me a handwritten letter of reflection, which I’ve decided to take into account.”

In the apology letter, the writer admitted to misunderstanding the situation:

“I sincerely apologize for causing serious defamation and harm due to my mistake. As a student interested in politics, I mistakenly thought Representative Lee followed an obscene account because that account followed him. I wrote about it online without verifying the facts, hoping for views. I deleted the post after realizing my mistake, but it had already spread uncontrollably.”

Lee Jun-seok further emphasized that while criticism of politicians’ policies and actions is legitimate, spreading unverified rumors is destructive. He warned against baseless online attacks, noting that many fabricated rumors about him can be disproven by simply checking available sources.

The real twist came when netizens noticed that Han So-hee had liked Lee Jun-seok’s post. Her action quickly went viral, prompting mixed reactions online. Some speculated it may have been accidental, while others questioned whether it revealed her political stance.

As discussions spread, the actress has yet to comment, leaving fans and the public divided over the true intention behind her social media activity.
