SHINee is officially making a full-group comeback for the first time in a year with the release of their sixth mini album Atmos on June 1.
The new album will feature six tracks including the title song “Atmos,” alongside B-sides “HOURS,” “Possibility,” “Anti Believer,” “Still Raining,” and “Thousand Miles Away.”
According to reports, the title track is an electronic house-based dance song combining glitchy synth sounds, rhythmic bass lines, and constantly shifting arrangements to create both dreamy and refreshing moods.

The lyrics reportedly express the feeling of floating through the air together with a loved one while exploring the emotions and senses tied to “the completed form of love.”
Longtime SHINee collaborators KENZIE and Andrew Choi participated in writing and composing the title track, further raising anticipation among fans.
Ahead of the release, SHINee has been drawing attention for teaser content themed around rain and weather — a playful reference to a longtime fandom joke claiming it always rains whenever the members gather together.

On May 25, the group released new teaser images featuring the members waiting in the rain under a mysterious atmosphere, quickly sparking excitement online.
The comeback is receiving even more attention because it marks Key’s return to activities after a six-month hiatus.
Last December, Key temporarily suspended promotions following controversy surrounding what Korean media referred to as the “injection aunt” incident.

At the time, Key reportedly received medical treatment both at a hospital and at home through someone introduced by an acquaintance. However, the individual later became involved in controversy over allegedly lacking a valid medical license.
Following the issue, Key released a statement through his agency explaining that he believed the individual was a licensed doctor and did not realize receiving treatment at home could become problematic. After learning about the controversy, he publicly apologized, reflected on his actions, and halted all scheduled activities.
Fans are now welcoming his return warmly, with many expressing excitement about finally seeing SHINee reunited again on stage.
The full album Atmos will be released digitally through major music platforms on June 1 at 6 PM KST.
