On March 31, organizers announced SHINee’s upcoming concert titled The Trilogy I – 2026 SHINee WORLD VIII: [THE INVERT] , set to take place from May 29 to 31 at KSPO DOME in Seoul. This marks the group’s first full-member solo concert in approximately one year, heightening excitement among fans worldwide.

Particular focus has been placed on Key, who reappeared publicly for the first time in about five months. In newly released promotional images, he appeared noticeably slimmer, with a more reserved expression and black hairstyle, sparking concern and curiosity among fans.
Key had previously suspended activities in December after becoming embroiled in a controversy involving alleged illegal medical treatment. He later clarified through his agency that he had believed the individual providing treatment was a licensed doctor and expressed deep regret upon learning otherwise. Following the incident, he stepped down from all ongoing programs.

The concert title “INVERT,” meaning “to reverse” or “to transform,” reflects SHINee’s intention to present a fresh perspective on their music and performance style. With creative staging and a renewed concept, the group aims to showcase a multidimensional performance that highlights their evolution as artists.
As SHINee prepares to stand together on stage once again, fans, known as SHINee World, are eagerly awaiting the group’s return. Key’s comeback adds an emotional layer to the event, making it not just a concert but a significant moment of reunion and new beginnings.
