If you look closely at the photo, Shin Min-ah and a man were standing side by side in front of the mirror with their bodies overlapping. The man completely covered his face, showed off his arm muscles and posed behind Shin Min-ah. Hereby, the optical illusion of Shin Min-ah’s big arm muscles photo was completed.

Finding the photo hilariously clever, international and domestic netizens alike responded enthusiastically by leaving thousands of likes and hundreds of comments on Shin Min Ah’s Instagram post.

Shin Min Ah previously debuted in November 2019, as a member of the Kpop girl group ILUV.

In 2020, she caused quite the stir after revealing that she was bullied and harassed by her own group members during promotions with ILUV. At the time, her allegations were refuted by the group’s agency WKS ENE, which later sued the former idol for misinformation and defamation.

In July 2021, the court ruled in favor of Shin Min Ah, whose legal representative then said: “We concluded that Shin Min-ah’s SNS posts and media interviews were not for the purpose of slander and that she did not spread any false information. Therefore, we sent the case to prosecution, and were not indicted.”

In response, some members from ILUV claimed: “The police’s decision to not indict was due to “insufficient evidence”, which means that there is no direct evidence that Mina’s claim is false, nor it is true. Based on the opinions of us ILUV members and legal representatives, we are considering whether to appeal and request a reinvestigation.”
