CL talked about 2NE1’s surprise Coachella reunion on “You Quiz”.
In tvN’s talk show “You Quiz on the Block” that was broadcast on May 25th, CL made a guest appearance and had a chance to share about 2NE1’s surprise reunion on the stage of America’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts that took place last month.
CL, who was in charge of bringing 2NE1 members together for a reunion, said, “We wanted to prepare for a surprise stage. We thought we would get caught in the middle.”
CL revealed that she and the members practiced choreography in secret at the dance academy run by Minzy. She added, “The classes ended at 10 so we got together at 11, practiced quietly and then took a taxi home, without informing our agencies.”
CL also explained why she gathered the members and arranged a reunion, saying, “I really wanted us to get together once, and I wanted to greet the fans properly because before, we did it kind of ambiguously.”
