SEVENTEEN Woozi will release a song for Moonbin, left a tear-jerking message

Woozi, a member of boy group SEVENTEEN, promises a birthday gift for the late Moonbin via an emotional message.

On April 25th, SEVENTEEN Woozi left a long comment on the last update on the late Moonbin Instagram account, driving people to tears.

In particular, Woozi recalled memories with Moonbin, saying, “Our Binnie (nickname for Moonbin), I miss you so much. Less than a week ago, we said we should find the time to dance together, and you said I was definitely number one for you.”

“I can still remember you saying this with a particularly bright smile”, he also wrote, adding, “but the world is rather cruel, isn’t it?” I feel sorry that someone as cool as you likes a person like me, when I’m too shy to express things well. You were really such a cool brother.”

Then, Woozi reminiscent on his deceased friend, saying, “How nice would it be, if I were able to have said more kind words to you, at least as much as what I have received from you. I feel ashamed of myself for not being able to express my feelings properly. Bin-ah, you gave me so much strength. You have always praised my dance and music, as well as liked and anticipated them. And thought I just took it lightly because I felt shy, do you know how happy you make me feel? I come here to confess this. You punk.”

Woozi also called Moonbin the brother who liked him the most, and expressed that there would be no one like Moonbin in the future.

“You are precious to me, and my heart cherishes you more and more, every day. But now, I don’t know what to do,” he also added.

Afterwards, Woozi mentioned “What Kind of Future”, an unreleased solo song that is personal to him, and recalled that Moonbin has always asked him when the song will be released. He then promised to release the song on Moonbin’s birthday as a gift.

“I don’t know how I will do it, but I will fight with my company just so I can release the song on your birthday, no matter what. Since I’ve eaten all the bibimmyeon that you bought me for my birthday, you should have given me a chance to give you a birthday present too, you punk!”, Woozi said.

Finally, Woozi said that the song is the only thing he can do for Moonbin now, and apologized.

He concluded the message by saying, “I love you, I cherish you, and I’m grateful for you”, adding, “Let’s be happy, I love you, Bin-ah.”
