SEVENTEEN S.Coups absent from Japan fanmeeting, “I’m sorry. I will try to recover as soon as possible”

S.Coups, the leader of SEVENTEEN, will not attend the group’s fanmeeting in Tokyo on May 27th.

On May 27th, Pledis Entertainment announced through their official SNS account the absence of S.Coups from ‘SEVENTEEN 2023 JAPAN FANMEETING LOVE’ scheduled to be held at Tokyo Dome, Japan.

The agency said, “It is inevitable that SEVENTEEN member S.Coups will be absent from the Tokyo schedule due to poor health condition”, adding “We would like to apologize to the fans and ask for your understanding”. 

They added, “We will do our best to help S.Coups recover as soon as possible”.

S.Coups’s health condition seems to have worsened due to a cold. On the same day, the male idol left a message on the fan community Weverse, saying “I’m sorry. I will try to recover as soon as possible”, expressing his regret.

It is known that S.Coups couldn’t even join the group’s live broadcast to commemorate SEVENTEEN’s 8th debut anniversary on the 26th due to his cold.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN will hold their fanmeeting at Tokyo Dome, Japan for two days on the 27th and 28th of May. On July 21st and 22nd, they will kick off their tour concert “FOLLOW” with the show at Gocheok Sky Dome. This performance will be held simultaneously both online and offline.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is a 13-member boy group that debuted in 2015. They released their 10th mini album “FML” in April and sold 4.55 million copies in first-week sales, ranking No.1 in the history of Korean singers.
