Seol-hyun shared on “Boss By Chance 2”: “10 years after my debut, I felt intimidated. I’m like a stranger”

Seol-hyun recalled the past and expressed her feelings on “Boss By Chance 2”. 

In the 9th episode of tvN’s “Boss By Chance 2” which aired on April 21st, the cast are shown talking as they wrapped up the business on the evening of the 6th day. 

During this episode, while having dinner, Yoon Kyung-ho revealed his relationship with Park Byung-eun after the one-act play “Monster” eight years ago. In response, Yoon Kyung-ho suggested a toast to Park Byung-eun first, and later they finished with a love shot, drawing laughter. Park Byung-eun then said, “We used to appear in ‘The Great Battle’ together,” referring to Jo In-sung and Seol-hyun.

Yoon Kyung-ho said, “I didn’t see Seol-hyun laughing loudly at the filming scene then.” Jo In-sung added, “She looks much better today.” Jo In-sung then said, “She still didn’t have much acting experience during ‘The Great Battle’ and she was very young,” to which Seol-hyun followed, “I’ve become more comfortable now.”

Seol-hyun said, “Last year was my 10th year in the entertainment industry.” Jo In-sung said, “You did great. 10 years. Congratulations. It’s really not easy to do something for 10 years,” he congratulated her, clapping and celebrating. 

Yoon Kyung-ho then told Seol-hyun to say something, and Jo In-sung glared at Yoon Kyung-ho, drawing laughter. Seol-hyun said, “When I was a singer, acting was just something they gave me and told me to do it. I felt like I was a stranger in that field.” 

Seol-hyun also expressed her feelings, saying, “I think I feel more comfortable after sincerely thinking that I would be an actress.” Cha Tae-hyun said, “Now you’re on your way to becoming an actor. Now you are comfortable and not awkward at all,” he said welcomingly. Jo In-sung joined in, “I think the job of ‘acting’ is always started at the ‘zero setting’. Whether you did well or not in your previous work, you feel like it’s reset to the original ‘zero setting’ every time you start a new one,” he said. Park Byung-eun also sympathized with this, adding, “All famous actors feel the same.” 

Cha Tae-hyun comforted and cheered Seol-hyun up, saying, “The important thing is that you hold out in the end.”
