Selena Gomez is said to be “always skinny” when she was Justin Bieber’s girlfriend, and here’s her response to it.
Selena Gomez recently left a comment directly on a viral TikTok video claiming that she was “always skinny” during her past romantic relationship with Justin Bieber. Her comment is a sad face emoji.
Uploaded on November 29, this video has recorded 3.7 million views, and Selena Gomez’s comment has already gained close to 40,000 likes.
“This is why Selena was always skinny when she dated Justin,” the creator of the video said, displaying photos of Selena Gomez, who was skinnier than she is now during her relationship with Justin Bieber.
In response, netizens filled the comments section and actively discussed what Selena’s sad face emoji really meant. Some judge that she agreed with the video, while others see it as her reaction that the video is groundless.
Selena Gomez was diagnosed with lupus in 2015. She had a kidney transplant in 2017, and suffered sudden weight gain as a result of taking medications.
Still, Selena Gomez has been outspoken about her own body positivity. In a video she posted in August that showed her lying in the sun in a swimsuit and not caring about belly fat, she said, “I don’t want to hold my breath and put my stomach in.”

In this regard, she revealed that she doesn’t care about her weight, because no matter what she looks like, people will have negative things to say. She imitated some people who commented on her body, such as “You’re too thin” and “You’re big“, while showing her confidence, “I’m perfect just the way I am.”
“I’m trying to stay skinny, but I recently went to Jack in the Box (burger store) and ordered four tacos, three egg rolls, onion rings, and a spicy chicken sandwich,” she said, drawing laughter.
Meanwhile, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber dated and broke up repeatedly from 2010 to 2018. Justin Bieber is currently married to model Hailey Bieber.
