“Under the Queen’s Umbrella” Moon Sang Min “Senior Kim Hye Soo helped me the most in character building”

Actor Moon Sang Min smilingly said, “I was really excited and happy to be able to act with senior Kim Hye Soo through ‘Under the Queen’s Umbrella’.

Moon Sang Min made this remark in an interview related to tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama “Under the Queen’s Umbrella“, which was conducted at Wikitree’s office building in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul on Dec 12th.

Set in a fictional period within the Joseon dynasty, “Under the Queen’s Umbrella”, which ended on Dec 4th, deals with the top 1% education method to make the troublemaker princes, who cause nuisance for the royal family, into proper princes. Moon Sang Min was well-received for his charming portrayal of Grand Prince Seongnam, the second son of Queen Im Hwa Ryeong (Kim Hye Soo), who has a warm heart behind his rough and free-spirited appearance.

In particular, Moon Sang Min, who showed off his affectionate mother-son chemistry with Kim Hye Soo, said, “Every single moment was a precious time for me. Senior analyzed and told me what to say in Hwa Ryeong and Grand Prince Seongnam’s scenes, so I was able to be in harmony naturally. Thanks to senior, I caught Grand Prince Seongnam’s direction. She helped me the most in character building.

He expressed respect for his seniors, “I felt joy while acting with senior Kim Hye Soo. I received good energy from not only senior Kim Hye Soo but also seniors Kim Hae Sook and Choi Won Young. I’m grateful that they gave me unforgettable experiences.

Moon Sang Min, who revealed that he likes to take pictures, was very satisfied with the pictures taken by Kim Hye Soo. He boasted, “Senior is really good at taking pictures.
