EXO’s Sehun starts his military service as a social service worker from today (Dec 21)
On Dec 21st, Sehun entered the training camp to undergo basic military training before commencing alternative military service.
Prior to this, SM Entertainment asked for a quiet enlistment, “We respect his wish to quietly enlist, so we won’t disclose specific details of the location and time. We appreciate your understanding.”
In a handwritten letter, Sehun expressed apologies for sharing the news late with EXO-Ls. He added, “I hope you can understand my inability to greet you in person. Thank you for your precious support. Wishing everyone good health until we meet again.”
As Sehun starts his military service as a social service worker, he becomes the last EXO member to fulfill military duty. Currently, Kai is serving as a social service worker, and the remaining members have completed their military obligations.
Sehun is expected to be discharged in September 2025, and the complete EXO group reunion is anticipated in 2025.
At the same time, EXO is gaining attention as their winter song ‘The First Snow’ topped music charts after 10 years since its release. The song, part of EXO’s 2013 winter special album ‘Miracles in December,’ has become a winter essential with its unique sentimental and warm vibes, now associated with the ‘winter must-listen’ song every year.
