2NE1 member-singer Sandara Park expressed her candid thoughts about fandom
On Nov 10th, a video featuring Sandara Park was uploaded on the YouTube channel “Bam House”.
In the video, Sandara Park, along with GOT7 BamBam, proceeded with a heart-to-heart talk about their lives in the entertainment industry and recent situations.
BamBam asked, “Did any Filipino celebrity ask you out?” Sandara Park surprised everyone by saying, “A lot. Since a long time ago.”
When BamBam asked “When will you get married?“, Sandara Park shared a different perspective, “Actually, I prefer to live celibate lifestyle. I can’t really say that out loud because I canceled 2% before. As we live, we could start to like things that I didn’t like, right? Later on, when I say I’m getting married, my friends may criticize me so much… I opened up 2% of chance because maybe I could get married.”
Sandara Park also brought up stories related to her activities with 2NE1.
She expressed regret, “The fandom became really small. Because our group parted away and there are fans who moved to other groups. Coachella festival stage was the 1st stage as 2NE1 after 7 years.”
To the question “How about coming back as 2NE1?“, Sandara Park mentioned her desire for a comeback, “I would like to and there are many suggestions, but it’s not being done yet.”
She confessed, “There are also many fans who transferred. A lot transferred to BLACKPINK. People who liked our style could transfer like that.”
BamBam showed support, “I still listen to past songs of 2NE1 sometimes. If 2NE1 comes back, regardless of fan transfer or vacancy of fan activity, and all other things, I think they will all come back and gather up.”
Sandara Park expressed her anticipation, “Since our fans are usually hiding, I thought there are no more fans. But this time, when I prepared album and held meeting with marketing team, I said I don’t think fans would come. And they came back again. The stages made me cry. I felt like that alone so if 4 of us gather up, I think all fans will come back.“
