Former 2NE1 member Sandara Park shows off her friendship with actor Jung Sung Il.
On July 16th, Sandara Park posted a video on her Instagram with the caption “FESTIVAL with Jung Sung Il.”
In the released video, Sandara Park did the ‘Festival’ challenge with Jung Sung Il. Sandara Park showcased her fresh visuals and impressive dancing skills. Her visual combination with Jung Sung Il also stood out. At the end of the video, Jung Sung Il also strokes Sandara Park’s hair.
Sandara Park said, “It’s touching to do a challenge with Sung Il oppa. He has been like a real brother to me since trainee days. Oppa is not just a nice bast**d, but an incredibly nice person. He’s the best,” making a reference to Jung Sung Il’s character in “The Glory” and expressing her heartwarming feelings towards him.
Jung Sung Il also shared Sandara Park’s post and added the caption, “My little sister for 20 years,” revealing his affection for Sandara Park.
Sandara Park and Jung Sung Il became close friends after meeting as trainees under the same agency, YG Entertainment. They also appeared together in the 2009 MBC drama “The Return of Iljimae.”
Even after their respective debuts as an actor and a member of 2NE1, Sandara Park and Jung Sung Il continue to support each other’s activities and maintain their friendship.
Sandara Park’s digital mini-album ‘SANDARA PARK’ released on July 12th is her first solo album in about six years since her 2NE1 activities. It includes a total of five songs, including the title track ‘FESTIVAL,’ which samples singer Uhm Jung Hwa’s song of the same name.
