On May 29, T Entertainment officially announced, “We are delighted to work with Ryu Hwa-young, who has consistently received love for her solid acting skills and diverse charms.” CEO Kim Dong-jun also shared that the agency plans to fully support actress Ryu Hwa-young so she can showcase her limitless potential.
Despite recently revealing her marriage plans, Ryu Hwa-young has no intentions of stepping away from the entertainment industry. Instead, the actress is continuing her career under a new agency home that houses several prominent entertainers including Ra Mi-ran, Lee Young-ja, Kim Sook, Hong Jin-kyung, Boom, and Jung Ji-so.
Ryu Hwa-young first began her acting career in 2014 through the SBS drama Mother’s Choice. Since then, she has steadily built her filmography through projects such as the KBS2 drama Ok’s Family, tvN’s Ex-Girlfriend Club, and SBS’s Come Back Mister.
She particularly gained attention for her role as Kang Yi-na in the JTBC hit series Hello, My Twenties!, where her confident and outspoken character left a lasting impression on viewers. The actress later expanded her acting range through dramas including My Father is Strange, Mad Dog, The Beauty Inside, MBC’s Love Scene Number, and most recently Player 2: Master of Swindlers.
