Following Jisoo & Jennie, Rosé’s teaser poster for BLACKPINK’s new song “Shut Down” has been released

Ahead of their comeback, new visual posters for each BLACKPINK member are being unveiled every day, drawing explosive responses from global fans.

YG Entertainment posted the third individual teaser poster for the title song “Shut Down” of BLACKPINK’s second full album on September 12th. The poster caught the eyes of fans around the world by capturing Rosé’s bold charm in intense black-colored outfits and metal accessories.

The main vocal of BLACKPINK added a highlight point by matching a splendid stud belt with her long boots, giving off a hip aura. Her deep eyes which were completed with eyeshadow and pink lip makeup stimulated fans’ curiosity as they seem to foretell a deeper and more emotional vibe of the new song.

Major foreign media, such as NME and Billboard, are reporting their teaser contents and showing extraordinary expectations for BLACKPINK’s comeback. Forbes said, “This is just the beginning of BLACKPINK’s growing history”, predicting an explosive performance. The Grammys commented, “The Queens of K-pop returns”, suggesting that “BORN PINK” is a must-listen album.

BLACKPINK is unveiling individual posters of the members sequentially. Starting with Jisoo on September 10th, Jennie on the 11th and Rosé on the 12th, the one for Lisa will be released last on the 13th. 

BLACKPINK’s second full album “BORN PINK” will be published at 1 p.m on the 16th of next month. According to YG, the album will be filled with diverse music colors that express the group’s unique identity.

Not making their official comeback yet, the girl group has already begun their new record march with “Pink Venom”. This pre-release song ranked 2nd on the Spotify Top Song Global Weekly Chart, which is currently the highest ranking for K-pop songs. It also topped the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global charts for two consecutive weeks. On Billboard Hot 100 and the U.K Official Chart, respectively, “Pink Venom” charted No.22, setting the highest record for a K-pop girl group’s single.

In addition, BLACKPINK will be holding a world tour, starting with a two-day show at KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Seoul on the 15th and 16th of next month. The girl group is expected to attract a total of 1.5 million fans with this tour that will go to North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, etc.
