BLACKPINK makes new record in the UK with “PINK VENOM”

“PINK VENOM” stands firmly in the top 40 of the Official Singles Charts for 3 consecutive weeks.

“PINK VENOM” by BLACKPINK is the first song by a Kpop female idol group staying in the top 40 of the Official Charts in the UK for three consecutive weeks.

Official Charts in the UK is a reputable ranking system usually compared with the Billboard in the US. After its release at 22nd place of the Official Singles Charts last month, “PINK VENOM” still maintains its heat and attraction to the audiences.

In the latest rankings, “PINK VENOM” stands at 40th, marking the third consecutive week in the top 40 of the Official Singles Charts, an unprecedented achievement by a female K-pop group.

BLACKPINK is preparing for their second full-length album “BORN PINK” with the title track “Shut Down” expected to drop on September 16th.

After their success in Asia and North America, BLACKPINK and other Korean artists are making their impression in the UK and Europe, proving an enlarging influence of the Hallyu wave.
