Rosé (BLACKPINK) set a new record and impressive achievements on the Billboard charts

Rosé is truly a “dinosaur rookie” of Kpop this year!

On the morning of March 23, the Billboard Hot 100’s ranking was updated.  Accordingly, the song On The Ground brings a new record for Rosé in the segment of Kpop female solo artist.  Specifically, the song debuted at No. 70 – the highest ranking of a Korean female solo singer.

At the first debut without the other members beside her, Rosé immediately entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart.  No. 70 is also the highest-ranking for a Korean female solo singer.  Previously, the highest record ever belonged to CL with the song Lifted, ranked 94.

Previously, Rosé was currently the female solo singer with the highest album sales on Hanteo (first day 282,674 copies, first week 448,089 copies), breaking Lee Soo Young’s 17-year record.
