“Real-life version of Na Hee-do and Baek Yi-jin”… Here is the story of an announcer and a sports player’s first date

Announcer Kim Bo-min revealed her memories with her husband – football coach Kim Nam-il.

On May 31st, Kim Bo-min posted on her Instagram two photos along with the caption “I finally opened it. My old Cyworld photo album. There are more than 9,000 photos but I think these are the photos in which two of us look okay”.

One of the photos is a selfie of Kim Nam-il and Kim Bo-min taken 18 years ago. This selfie, which was posted on Kim Bo-min’s Cyworld in 2004, shows the two smiling brightly next to each other. Their youthful faces in this two-shot photo caught the eyes of netizens. The other photo showed Kim Bo-min focusing on taking selfies while Kim Nam-il was looking somewhere.

Kim Bo-min added, “In front of Namsan Coffee vending machine in 2004, he said ‘I, Kim Nam-il, think about Min-ni (Bo-min) a lot, I wonder Min-ni also think of me the same way?’. In 2022, he grilled meat at a charcoal grill meat restaurant and said, ‘Min-ni ah, eat the meat before it burns’.”

Regarding her husband, she explained, “He’s someone who avoids taking pictures, signing autographs, and broadcasts because they make him feel awkward.” Kim Bo-min also sent a message to Kim Nam-il, saying “It’s OK, it’s okay to just think about soccer. But let’s take more photos since all of our memories can only be left in pictures.”
