Recently, an online post titled “A celebrity everyone is trying to find, not just in Korea but overseas” began circulating across communities.
The post included a fan’s message alongside photos of ONE, reading, “Does anyone know the handsome rapper Jung Jae Won? He’s been missing for years. I’ve been listening to his songs and waiting, but there hasn’t been a single trace of him,” adding, “I wrote this because it’s his birthday today.”
The original poster further explained, “He suddenly disappeared from the entertainment industry without a trace after 2020. Before that, he appeared in various programs and dramas,” adding, “Since yesterday was his birthday (March 29), many people are wondering what he’s doing and where he is now.”
Fans who came across the post shared similar sentiments, commenting, “I occasionally look him up, but it’s surprising there’s absolutely no news,” “It always seemed like the celebrity life didn’t suit his personality,” “Maybe he’s living a normal life now,” “He might have chosen a completely different path,” “I still listen to his songs sometimes,” and “I’m really curious about what he’s doing these days.”
ONE debuted in 2015 as part of the hip-hop duo 1PUNCH with their first single album. As a former member and leader of the group, he gained attention through appearances on Show Me the Money 4 and Show Me the Money 5.
Alongside his music career, he also pursued acting, appearing in dramas such as A Korean Odyssey, Room No. 9, Her Private Life, and Arthdal Chronicles, as well as the film Goodbye Summer.
He also appeared as a panelist on Heart Signal 2, showcasing his versatility across different areas of entertainment.
