ONE (Jung Jae Won) was once considered one of the most promising multi-talents in K-entertainment. He first gained attention as part of the duo 1PUNCH before rising to wider fame through Show Me the Money Season 4. His career gained further momentum after signing with YG Entertainment, where he expanded into acting. He appeared in popular dramas such as Her Private Life and Arthdal Chronicles, while also releasing his solo album PRVT 01, showcasing his distinct musical style. Combined with his striking, “idol-like” visuals, ONE seemed destined for long-term stardom.
Then, almost without warning, he disappeared.
His public appearances and updates began to slow around 2020, but fans noticed a more abrupt withdrawal in 2021. After briefly updating his profile photos, ONE once again went silent. By 2022, he had deactivated his social media accounts, effectively cutting off all direct communication with fans.
The last known sighting dates back to October 2022, when he was reportedly seen attending a producer gathering at a club in Seoul. Since then, there have been no confirmed public appearances.

Despite the silence, occasional hints have kept fans hopeful. In 2024, producer Millennium played an unreleased track that ONE had worked on years earlier during an Instagram Live session, suggesting the artist may still be in touch with close collaborators. Around the same time, producer Ian Purp hinted at a possible comeback but nothing materialized.
The mystery deepened further with a series of unexplained SoundCloud uploads between 2023 and 2025. Some listeners speculated the tracks were connected to ONE, but inconsistencies in style, vocals, and even the spelling of his name led others to doubt their authenticity. Many of these tracks were repeatedly deleted and reuploaded before disappearing entirely.

With no official statements, fans have been left to piece together fragments of information. Some believe ONE chose to quietly step away from the industry, while others remain convinced he could return when least expected.
Online discussions reflect both nostalgia and confusion:
- “I still listen to his music and wait, but there’s no sign of him at all.”
- “I followed him since 1PUNCH, then suddenly there were no updates.”
- “Maybe he left the entertainment world completely.”
- “He was seriously handsome I can’t believe he just vanished.”
- “Wasn’t he almost part of WINNER?”
Years later, Jung Jae Won’s disappearance remains one of the most puzzling cases in K-entertainment leaving fans still searching for answers.
