On April 3, 2026, T.O.P officially made his long-awaited return with his first full-length studio album in 13 years since Doom Dada (2013), marking one of the most notable K-pop comebacks of the year. Released at 6 PM (KST), the project quickly generated massive buzz across social media platforms—especially as the rapper directly mentioned BIGBANG in his music for the first time, delivering deeply personal reflections.
Titled TOP SPOT – 다중관점 [ANOTHER DIMENSION], the album is T.O.P’s first studio project as an independent artist under his own company, Topspot Pictures. All 11 tracks were produced and creatively directed by T.O.P himself. The project was developed in collaboration with Grammy-winning sound engineers, aiming to deliver a multi-dimensional musical experience true to its “another dimension” concept. Following the album’s release, attention quickly centered on the track OVAYA (A SMALL, FILTHY SHOW WINDOW), where T.O.P directly references BIGBANG in his lyrics. In the song, he candidly expresses his feelings toward the group and his youth: “I’m so sorry but I loved my old days in BIGBANG.” The lyrics go on to reflect a once-glorious era that has now ended: “Was beautiful but game ovaya / Five different ways for me, it’s game ovaya.”

Notably, Taeyang shared T.O.P’s new album on Instagram on April 3. Previously, T.O.P left YG Entertainment in 2022 and officially confirmed his departure from BIGBANG in May 2023. He explained that his decision stemmed from guilt following his 2017 scandal, a desire not to affect the remaining members, and a wish to pursue creative freedom outside the traditional idol system.
