Released in 2019 on Netflix during the Covid-19 pandemic, “Crash Landing on You” gained huge love worldwide, especially in Japan. According to the “2023 K-Content Overseas Expansion” survey published by the Korea Creative Content Agency in January, “Crash Landing on You” was one of the K-dramas that Japanese viewers watch frequently, along with “Winter Sonata”.

“Queen of Tears” tells about the crisis faced by chaebol Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won) and her husband Baek Hyun-woo (Kim Soo-hyun) in the third year of their marriage. After airing only 4 episodes, the drama already surpassed 13% and is breaking its own highest rating record every week.
