Collaborated with BTS’s Suga, PSY returned to Billboard Hot 100 chart after 7 years

“That That” became PSY’s 5th song to enter the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Billboard recently released its Hot 100 charts for the previous week, and Kpop fans instantly noticed PSY’s new title “That That”, which features BTS’s Suga.

As title to the new “PSY 9th” album, the track entered Billboard Hot 100 at the 80th position, and became PSY’s fifth song to enter this reputable chart.

Previously, PSY’s massive hit “Gangnam Style” landed in the 2nd position for 7 weeks, followed by other pieces including “Gentlemen” in 2013, “Hangover” in 2014, and “Daddy” in 2015. It has been 7 years since PSY last made an appearance on Billboard Hot 100, and his collaboration with BTS’s Suga seems to help repeat history. “That That” also got high positions on “Billboard Global 200” and “Billboard Global Excluding US”, landing at no. 2 and 5, respectively.

Right after the positions are unveiled, PSY immediately thanks his fans on the social platform Twitter. Netizens are also expecting higher accomplishment on Billboard in the following weeks.

That That” is a lively Latin-inspired track with a catchy melody that truly aligns with PSY’s iconic style. As a collab with BTS’s Suga, the song quickly caught worldwide attention. It was revealed that Suga not only produced the song but also wrote the lyrics, composed, and arranged the song. The BTS rapper even appeared as a special guest in the MV, and danced along to the catchy choreography.
