“Plaza Wars” unveils star-studded cast lineup “From So Ji-sub to Lee Joon-hyuk”

Netflix officially confirmed the production of the noir action series “Plaza Wars” and unveiled its cast lineup

Based on the Naver webtoon of the same name, “Plaza Wars” is about a man who seeks truth behind the sudden death of his brother.

The revealed cast lineup adds to the anticipation with its high sync with the original work and the actors’ intense presence. So Ji-sub, who was the top pick for the role of “Ki-joon” among readers’ fancasting, stars as this character. After 11 years, “Ki-joon” returns to the organization after his brother’s death to seek truth. So Ji-sub, known for his roles in various genres, makes his comeback to noir action after the film “A Company Man”, showcasing his portrayal of the cold and composed journey of revenge. His high-intensity action scenes are also highly anticipated.

The role of “Ki-seok”, Ki-joon’s younger brother, is portrayed by Lee Joon-hyuk. “Ki-seok” takes over the organization “Juwoon” after his brother leaves but ends up becoming the trigger for an incident due to his mysterious death.
