Pets Tseng has sparked concern among fans after suffering a painful fall during a recent live performance on Chinese survival program Ride the Wind 2026 (also known as Sisters Who Make Waves 7).
The Taiwanese star is currently competing on the hit variety show as a team leader. During the third public performance stage, however, an unexpected accident occurred while she was performing the song “Bao Lian.”
According to viewers and online clips, the choreography originally required Pets Tseng to step on the backs of backup dancers to propel herself toward the front of the stage.
But the singer reportedly hesitated out of concern for accidentally stepping on the dancers too hard and instead attempted to leap across on her own.
Unfortunately, the move caused her to lose balance during landing, leading to a hard fall directly onto her knees.
Audience members watching the livestream noticed she struggled to immediately stand back up and briefly needed assistance from teammates.
Despite the injury, Pets Tseng shocked viewers by continuing the entire performance without stopping.
She reportedly completed the difficult choreography while also delivering fully live vocals, causing some viewers to initially believe the fall had been intentionally included as part of the stage concept.
After the performance ended, behind-the-scenes footage revealed the severity of the situation more clearly.
The singer was seen walking with difficulty while being supported by others backstage.
Reports also noted that Pets Tseng had already been under intense physical strain leading up to the performance.
She was reportedly training for more than 12 hours daily while simultaneously preparing three separate stages.
During rehearsals, she had already experienced nosebleeds, bronchitis flare-ups, vocal strain, and discomfort related to a previous knee injury.
Following the broadcast, fans flooded social media with messages of support and concern.
Many viewers commented that they immediately sensed something was wrong after seeing her facial expression during the fall.
