“People around me would know this…” BLACKPINK’s Jennie reveals her preference for self-care
When it comes to self-care, Jennie has her own taste.
In the new video “Jennie’s Selfcare Routines” uploaded to the official YouTube channel ‘Jennierubyjane Official’ of BLACKPINK’s Jennie on June 6th, Jennie explained her self-care routine in detail. Wearing a basic outfit at home and filming a video with her puppy, Jennie gives off comfy vibes.
Throughout the video, Jennie introduced a variety of self-care products that she uses often to take care of her body and relieve fatigue after busy schedules, such as a foam roller, lip scrubs, and bath bombs.
When talking about scents, Jennie explained her distinct preferences, saying, “I pay a lot of attention to things that touch my skin, things I listen to, and things I smell. I am very sensitive to scents. To begin with, people around me would know this already. I get scent-sick very easily so I never liked perfume scents.” She went on to reveal her favorite scents, “I tend to like fruity, lemony, citrus, subtle jasmine, or baby powder scent. I prefer scents that are very close to nature, wood scent or earthy scent.”
Jennie then brought up a story related to her phone alarm. She said, “My manager calls me if I don’t set my alarm, so I always set my alarm. I use the creepy iPhone default alarm that gives you goosebumps. I set like 5 alarms and go to sleep. Otherwise I can’t wake up.”
Jennie also revealed a habit she wanted to fix. “I love that time of scrolling through my phone after getting in bed so it’s hard quitting that. These days, I purposely turn off my phone and play a movie I wanted to watch while falling asleep, and look up things or read something. I try to reduce that time little by little, but it’s best to lie down and watch YouTube before bed.”
Meanwhile, Jennie was recently caught up in dating speculations with V of BTS. Jennie and V’s agencies, YG Entertainment and HYBE Labels, still remain silent amid the growing rumors.
