“Pawn” Park So-yi was such a baby, but now she is already a senior in elementary school

Child actress Park So-yi has been selected as the “Kid of the Year.”

On Jun 22nd, Park So-yi was honored to receive the “Kid of the Year” award at the 10th Seoul International Children’s Film Festival.

The Seoul International Children’s Film Festival, a festival where all generations can enjoy children’s movies from around the world together, marks its 10th anniversary this year.

This year’s “Kid of the Year” was established in recognition of one’s contribution to children’s cultural diversity.

Park So-yi, the first name to win this award in the category, has been writing a good record one after another. She was even named the youngest child award winner of the Golden Film Awards last year.

Park said, “Thank you so much for giving me this year’s ‘Kid of the Year’. I’m happy to be invited to the film festival this year and I’m happy to receive this award,” she shared in her speech.

Park said, “I will continue to work hard in acting. Thank you to everyone who supported me.”

Meanwhile, Park So-yi was born in 2012 and is currently 11 years old, a fourth-grader in elementary school.

Park So-yi, who made her debut with OCN’s “Mistress” in 2018, has appeared in works such as “Again, Spring,” “Hill of the Wind,” and “Save Me from Evil.” In particular, she was greatly loved for playing the role of the young Seung in “Pawn.”

Park So-yi will reunite with the public with her next films such as the movie “Christmas Present” (current title) and the short-form series “Click Clack Clack.”
