This female idol was not particularly popular during her school days, but her photos taken back then go viral now. 

(G)I-DLE’s Shuhua gains fans’ love for her cute charm, innocent visuals with exceptionally fair skin. Even her poor Korean pronunciation is endearing to the fans.

Shuhua was born in 2000. She grew up in a strict family and spent a lot of time at home, but she watched a lot of TV and dreamed of becoming an actress. So she entered an art school, but the culture she enjoyed with her friends in her junior high school changed Shuhua’s life.

During her school days, she enjoyed dancing and playing along with her friends thanks to the popularity of K-POP.  As she spent her school days like that, she naturally developed her dream of becoming a singer. She was especially a fan of SHINee and Hyuna. This admiration gradually gathered in her and eventually led her Shuhua to audition for Cube Entertainment.

At the beginning of her debut, other (G)I-DLE members, Minnie and Yuqi, were so fluent in Korean that Shuhua appeared to be even more lacking in Korean. However, as time went by, she became more outspoken and she used various expressions while communicating with fans, showing her improvement and surprising fans.

Shuhua usually shows her confident side to the fans, but she also unexpectedly shows a timid side. Shuhua confessed that she was not popular at school. However, after seeing Shuhua’s past photos, fans find this hard to believe because her beauty has “first love” vibes like the female lead of a youth drama. 

Shuhua’s singing and dancing skills are showing rapid improvement compared to the beginning of her debut. It is expected that she will continue to improve in the future. As much as she made outstanding achievements last year with (G)I-DLE’s back-to-back hit songs, “TOMBOY” and “Nxde”, fans look forward to Shuhua’s future activities.
