Park Seo Joon’s Agency Posts Urgent Announcement Looking for a Special Person

The announcement seeking a person from Park Seo Joon’s agency is attracting attention.

On April 27th, Awesome Entertainment, Park Seo Joon’s agency, posted a story on their official Instagram with a caption that reads, “We’re looking for someone“.

The video in the story shows a scene from when Park Seo Joon was giving a greeting at the 2017 movie “Midnight Runners” event, calling out to an audience member seated in row “M, seat number 10”. When a woman sitting in seat “M, seat number 11” shouted out “Oh no! I’m number 11!,” it made everyone at the scene burst into laughter.

This scene was revisited when Park Seo Joon, Jung Seung Gil, and Heo Joon Seok, the cast of the recently released movie “Dream”, appeared on IU’s official YouTube channel “IU’s Palette” on April 25th.

Park Seo Joon mentioned, “Thanks to that person, the atmosphere got really heated. If I get the chance, I want to do something for her.”

In response to IU’s suggestion, he left a video message saying, “If you come to the ‘Dream’ greeting, I will go and greet you.” He also promised to give a small gift if they meet again.

Then, a netizen who claimed to be the person in question left a comment and drew attention. She wrote, “I’m going crazy. I finally received a video message from Seo Joon oppa. I’m a successful fan. I’m the person in question. I’ve been watching this video algorithmically since around 2019, hoping that Seo Joon oppa would see it and find me someday. It’s still amazing that this video, which made me cry because I couldn’t see my favorite actor who had just returned to Korea, has gone so viral.”

Continuing on, she added, “Back then, I was just a naive high school student, and now I’m about to graduate from college and start working. I don’t know if Seo Joon oppa will see this comment, but I still have the same support and encouragement I had back then. I really want to sit down and cry when I see him at the greeting, but I haven’t been able to book a ticket yet. I was the M, seat number 11 girl. Thank you.

As this comment became a hot topic, Awesome Entertainment said on Instagram, “To the M, seat number 11 audience member who left a comment on ‘IU’s Palette’ EP.20 video, we hope you can send us a contact number that we can reach you at. Please contact us!

“Dream” tells the story of former soccer player Hong Dae (Park Seo Joon) and passionless PD So Min (IU) challenging an impossible dream with homeless national team players. After its premiere on April 27th, the movie topped the box office in Korea. This is the first time a Korean movie has reclaimed the top spot in the national box office in 50 days.
