Park Seo Joon & Han So Hee’s “Gyeongseong Creature” will have Season 2, filming starts early next year

“Gyeongseong Creature”, starring Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee, confirmed the production of Season 2.

According to a report by Star News on November 3rd, “Gyeongseong Creature” (written by Kang Eun Kyung/ directed by Jeong Dong Yun) recently confirmed the production of Season 2 with the first shooting set for early next year.

“Gyeongseong Creature” is a thriller set in the spring of 1945, when Gyeongseong (the old name of Seoul) was in its darkest time. It tells the story of two young people confronting a strange creature born of greed and fighting against it to survive. Screenwriter Kang Eun Kyung, who wrote “Dr. Romantic” series, and director Jeong Dong Yun of “Hot Stove League” joined forces to create this work.

Fans raised high expectations for the appearance of famous actors Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee as the male and female leads of the drama. In addition, many other trustworthy actors, such as Soo Hyun, Kim Hae Sook, Wi Ha Joon, Jo Han Chul, and Park Ji Hwan, have also been cast. 

Season 1 will premiere on Netflix next year. Although Season 1 has not yet been introduced, the production of the 2nd season has already been announced. This proves the production team’s great confidence in their work.

Meanwhile, “Gyeongseong Creature” is expected to provide intense fun by showing the struggles of those who confront the monster that suddenly appears in Gyeongseong. Park Seo Joon leads the story as Jang Tae Sang, the wealthiest man in Gyeongseong and the owner of Geumokdang. Han So Hee transforms into Yoon Chae Ok, a specialist in finding missing people.

Co-produced by Story & Pictures Media, Studio Dragon, and Kakao Entertainment, “Gyeongseong Creature” will be released only on Netflix.
