tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Marry My Husband” (written by Shin Yoo-dam, directed by Park Won-guk) unveiled its first teaser video on Nov 25th
“Marry My Husband” tells the story of a woman who was murdered after witnessing her husband’s affair with her best friend. She returns to ten years ago and begins her second life.
In the released video, Kang Ji-won’s appearance as she enters the interview room, looking around as if something is unfamiliar, captures attention. As if she has become a participant in the dating reality program “EXchange”, Kang Ji-won calmly answers questions related to X, arousing interest.
Kang Ji-won, who reveals that she was in an office romance with X, responds to the question “What kind of person is X?” by stating that X was the only person who became her family, hinting at a special existence. However, in the final choice, she is about to cry, saying, “I won’t choose X.”
Kang Ji-won’s shocking confession “I was murdered by my best friend and husband” adds a twist to the atmosphere. This unexpected development, combined with scenes of her best friend Jung Soo-min (played by Song Ha-yoon) and husband Park Min-hwan (played by Lee Yi-kyung) lying on a bed, followed by a physical fight and Kang Ji-won bleeding from her head, shocks viewers.
Later in the video, the appearance of Kang Ji-won changes dramatically from the previous interview, exuding a cold hatred with a fierce gaze. With a resolute determination to pay back what she suffered, Kang Ji-won’s blood-red punishment is anticipated as she transforms into the embodiment of vengeance.
“Marry My Husband” is set to premiere on Jan 1st, 2024.
