Park Min-young Looked Happy In First Public Appearance After News Of Receiving 250 Million Won From Ex-Boyfriend

Actress Park Min-young attended the closing party of tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Marry My Husband” at a restaurant in Yeouido, Seoul, on the afternoon of January 15th.

Park Min-young stood on the photo wall with a bright smile along with co-stars Na In-woo and Lee Yi-kyung. She expressed the joy as the drama ended by making a hand heart to the fans and reporters.

Park was embroiled in a controversy over receiving money from her ex-boyfriend Kang Jong-hyun. Kang reportedly pocketed 250 million won from a subsidiary company and deposited the money into Park Min-young’s personal account.

The actress’ agency Hook Entertainment denied her receiving financial support and explained that she only lent him her account. In particular, it said, “In February 2023, Park Min-young was questioned by the prosecutor as a witness, related to Mr. Kang Jong-hyun using the actress’s account. Through that, we declared it is clear that Park Min-young did not participate in any illegal activities, nor did she obtain any illegal profits.

The amount of 250 million won was used by Mr. Kang from Park Min-young’s account and not for the actress’s living expenses. She has been misunderstood for over a year but still accepted criticism and expressed regret.

Park Min-young is putting more effort into her career because she believes that showing good acting through good works is the only thing that can and should be done as an actress.”
