Park Min-young Didn’t Use 250 Million Won from Ex-lover as Living Expenses, Said Agency

On January 15, Park Min-young’s agency, Hook Entertainment, released an official statement countering Dispatch’s recent claim of Park Min-young receiving 250 million won (approx 200,000 USD) from her ex-lover, Kang Jong-hyun, for use as living expenses.

This is a severe accusation, considering that Kang Jong-hyun is known to have embezzled more than 60 billion won (approx 45 million USD).

In particular, Hook’s statement said, “Actress Park Min-young was investigated by the prosecution as a reference to Kang Jong-hyun’s use of Park Min-young’s account as a borrowed name around February 2023, and through this, it made it clear that actor Park Min-young did not participate in or benefit from illegal work.”

Despite receiving criticism from many people, she regrets and reflects on her actions that were not careful in many ways. She is now more dedicated to her main job, acting, through good works and good performances.”

Finally, they emphasized, “We hope that there will be no more cases of damaging actor Park Min-young’s reputation with groundless suspicions”

Meanwhile, Park Min-young has been attracting huge attention with her role in the on-going K-drama “Marry My Husband.
