Actress Park Eun-bin is reportedly considering a bold transformation as a villainess in the drama adaptation of the popular historical romance novel The Wicked Queen.
Park Eun-bin has recently received an offer to star in the drama and is said to be positively reviewing it. The series is based on a hit web novel by author Yoon Tae-ru, set in the fictional imperial court of the Eun Kingdom. The story follows Hyun-bi Gaeri, a stunningly beautiful yet cruel and jealous consort nicknamed the “wicked flower,” and her intense romance with the cold-hearted emperor Eon. Originally serialized on the online platform Romantique, the novel gained explosive popularity and had long been anticipated for a screen adaptation. Production will be handled by SYN&studio, while the broadcasting platform has yet to be finalized.

It is reported that Park Eun-bin has been offered the lead role of Hyun-bi Gaeri, a central villainess who drives the narrative. One reason her casting is drawing attention is that the actress herself is a known fan of the original novel. In a past magazine interview, she shared her love for romance novels and specifically mentioned that she enjoyed reading The Wicked Queen, expressing hope that it would one day be adapted into a drama.
Casting is currently underway for other key roles, including the male lead Emperor Eon and the kind-hearted Princess Inwon, who will serve as Gaeri’s romantic rival.

Meanwhile, Park Eun-bin is set to star alongside Cha Eun-woo in the upcoming Netflix series The Wonderfools, scheduled for release in May. She is also currently filming the tvN drama Chilling Romance, which is expected to air in the second half of the year.
Her agency, Namoo Actors, confirmed that while she has received the offer, nothing has been finalized yet, stating that a decision will be made after reviewing various factors.
All eyes are now on whether Park Eun-bin will take on the role in the drama adaptation of her favorite romance novel and deliver another striking transformation on screen.
