Park Eun Bin, (G)I-DLE, and Jun Hyun Moo took home the main prizes at the 49th Korean Broadcasting Awards 

Park Eun Bin, (G)I-DLE, Jun Hyun Moo and more won at the 49th Korean Broadcasting Awards. 

At the 49th Korean Broadcasting Awards ceremony held in Seoul on September 5th, 26 productions in 24 categories and 18 individual awards were honored.

Park Eun Bin won the Best Actor Award for her role in KBS’s drama “The King’s Affection”. Park Eun Bin said in her acceptance speech, “I am grateful to all the people who worked in ‘The King’s Affection’, including myself, who didn’t give up and did our best despite many difficulties. I would like to thank the viewers who loved ‘The King’s Affection’ from all over the world.”

Jun Hyun Moo won the Best Entertainer Award for MBC’s entertainment program “The Manager”. Jun Hyun Moo said, “It has been 10 years since I left KBS, and I’m honored to receive a meaningful award. I have mixed feelings as I won an award at a place that is like my hometown.”

(G)I-DLE won the Best Singer Award. (G)I-DLE expressed their gratitude, saying, “Thank you for giving us so much love. We will continue to become an idol group who makes enjoyable music.”

The late television presenter and singer Song Hae won the Jury’s Special Award and Shin Jae Dong, head of KBS 1TV’s “National Singing Contest” received it on his behalf. Shin Jae Dong said, “It would have been great if teacher (Song Hae) could receive this award in person. He went on stage with one wish to serve everyone. I miss him a lot.”

In addition, MBC’s drama “The Red Sleeve” won the Best TV Drama Award, and MBC’s “Working Today” won the Best New Media Program Award.
