Park Eun-bin won Best Actress at the 49th Korea Broadcasting Awards, “I will continue to remember and cherish ‘The King’s Affection’ in the future”

Park Eun-bin was honored with Best Actress at the 49th Korea Broadcasting Awards.

At the 49th Korea Broadcasting Awards, which was held at KBS TV Open Hall in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of September 5th, actress Kim So-hyun, who won Best Actress last year, appeared on the stage as an award presenter.

Park Eun-bin, who led KBS2’s drama “The King’s Affection”, was announced as the winner of Best Actress. 

Delivering her acceptance speech, Park Eun-bin said, “Thank you for giving this award to me and ‘The King’s Affection’ among many prominent works”. 

She continued, “I heard the news that I would be receiving this award on a summer day when the heat is at its peak. Thinking about the time I spent with ‘The King’s Affection’ last year, the memories of when we worked hard to film the drama while wearing hanbok with many layers passed by my head. Thanks to ‘The King’s Affection’, I was given the chance to live like a king in the Joseon Dynasty. It was like a dream to me. I will continue to remember and cherish this character and this work in the future.”

Lastly, she said, “I will continue to love the characters Hwi, Dam-yi, and Yeon-seo that I played. I want to thank everyone, including myself, who worked hard and didn’t give up despite difficulties to create ‘The King’s Affection’. Once again, I would like to thank the viewers from all over the world who watched and loved ‘The King’s Affection’.”
