K-pop idols are famous for their youthful visuals, and it shows even more clearly when you put them next to American stars.
K-pop idols barely age, so they are often popular for having timeless beauty. They tend to look much younger when sharing the same frame with Western stars. You will find it difficult to believe that the following pairs of Korean and American singers were born in the same years. However, a major similarity between these pairs is that they are both successful and talented.
BTS’ Jin and Cardi B: Born in 1992
BTS’s oldest member Jin and American rapper Cardi B are actually the same age. They were both born in 1992. Although Jin has entered his 30s, he is famous for having a baby face. Meanwhile, Cardi B’s style and makeup often make her look more mature than her real age.
Jin released his first solo track in BTS’ album “Wings” called Awake in 2016. This song landed at No. 31 on the Gaon music chart and trended at No. 1 on Billboard Real Time Chart.

Post Malone and BTS’ V: Born in 1995
Looking at the photos of V and Post Malone side by side, it’s hard to believe that they were both born in 1995 because V looks like he is much younger than the American rapper.
Despite being the same age, V had an earlier starting point than Post Melone when in mid-June 2013, he officially debuted as a member of BTS. V was also recognized for the first time for his composing talent when he wrote the song “Hold Me Tight” on the album “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life”. V’s first solo song, “Stigma” from the album “Wings”, was also co-written by himself. The song peaked at #26 on the Gaon Music Chart and #10 on the Billboard World Digital Singles Chart.

Billie Eilish and ITZY’s Ryujin: Born in 2001
Billie Eilish and ITZY’s Ryujin both turn 21 years old this year. If Billie Eilish is a representative of Western artists born after 2000, Ryujin is considered the “ace” of ITZY.
