BTS becomes the first ever overseas hiphop artist to become 1st in Japanese Oricon album chart twice!
Korean 7 male hiphop group, BTS (Bangtansonyeondan/ ( 防弾少年団) released an album [LOVE YOURSELF 承 Her] on the 18th of September and 52,000 album was sold in a week (aggregate of 69,000) and it has officially become 1st in Oricon weekly album ranking.
It has been 13 months since when they first ranked in as 1st in their “YOUTH” album back in September 2016 and BTS became the first ever overseas hip-hop artist to rank in as 1st again.
This album includes a song “best of me” collaborated with the American DJ Duo, Chainsmokers and 8 others musics.
To this news, BTS themselves have commented that “Our album “LOVE YOURSELF 承 Her” has achieved 1st in Oricon Weekly Album Ranking. We really appreciate the constant support that we receive from our loving ARMY! Hope we can share this happiness!” Also, they mentioned “We are currently working our best to prepare for our first Dome concert in Osaka’s Kyo Cera Dome on 14th and 15th of this month. Please look forward to it!”
