Ong Seong-woo Greets Viewers From The Military, “Please show interest and love for ‘Strong Girl Nam-soon’”

Ong Seong-woo delivered a surprise greeting video while serving in the military

On October 5th, the press conference for JTBC’s new Sat-Sun drama “Strong Girl Nam-soon” was held at the Grand Ballroom of Standford Hotel in Sangnam, Mapo, Seoul. Director Kim Jung-sik and the cast, including Lee Yoo-mi, Kim Jong-un, Kim Hae-sook and Byun Woo-seok, attended the event.

That day, Ong Seong-woo was absent from the press conference because he was fulfilling military service. However, the actor still sent his greetings to the audience and reporters through a video.

Ong Seong-woo said, “I’m serving in the military so I cannot participate in the event. That’s why I’m greeting you all through this video. I’m looking forward to the first broadcast because I really enjoyed the filming and the chemistry between the actors was very good. I hope the viewers will enjoy the drama. Please show a lot of interest and love for it.”

Meanwhile, “Strong Girl Nam-soon” is a drama about mothers and daughters of three generations who were born with superpowers digging into the reality of new drug crimes in Gangnam.

Expanding the worldview of “K-heroines” that started with “Strong Girl Bong-soon” six years ago, screenwriter Baek Mi-kyung and director Kim Jung-sik worked together to create the new series “Strong Girl Nam-soon”.

The drama airs every Saturday and Sunday at 10:30 p.m. The first episode scheduled on the 7th will start at 10:50 p.m. due to Asian Games broadcasts.
