One member was excluded from NCT 127’s album? Fans shocked and outraged

A member was missing from the physical copy of NCT 127’s new album “2 Baddies”, angering fans

On September 16th, a year after their last full-length album “Sticker”, NCT 127 released their 4th full-length album “2 Baddies”,

However, fans who purchased the physical copy of “2 Baddies” with great excitement are now showing their anger at SM Entertainment. This is because in the digipack version of this album, a member of NCT 127, Doyoung, was completely missing from a page.

In particular, an NCT 127 fan, who bought the album right after its release, posted a photo on her Twitter account, saying, “WHERE’S DOYOUNG?”. Her photo, which captured the back of NCT 127’s digipack photobook, showed only 8 out of 9 members, and the missing one is Doyoung.

Said fan also expressed their confusion at SM’s mishap, and marveled at how the agency can forget about a crucial member.

Other fans also could not hide their disappointment, seeing that Doyoung has been actively promoting the album with great affection and pride.

Below are several comments from netizens on the Korean forum “theqoo”:

  • No matter how busy they are, how can they just forget about a member like that???
  • Doyoung is my bias, I’m really in tears
  • Doyoung continuously talked about how much he loved this album, how can they do him dirty like this?
  • They need to release another version with Doyoung
  • Did SM not perform any quality check?
  • To omit a member completely is just too much

On the other hand, on the afternoon of September 16th, NCT 127 held a press conference to commemorate the release of their 4th regular album “2 Baddies” at Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel Grand Ballroom Vendome in Sincheon-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul.

At this meeting, Doyoung expressed his affection and pride for the new album by saying, “During the preparation of this album, I think all the members worked hard from the beginning with the mindset of ‘Let’s really make a masterpiece’, We prepared each song with a really precious heart.”
