Oh My Girls’ Mimi revealed the reason she opened her Youtube channel “MimPD” and started creating online content

Oh My Girl member Mimi explained why she began Youtube activities.

Mimi guested on MBC’s “Radio Star”, which aired on the evening of August 31st, and talked about various things. Apart from Mimi, Kim Wan-sun, Cha Joon-hwan, Patricia and Jonathan also appeared on the program.

Mimi is emerging as a rising entertainment talent by showing off her extraordinary sense of entertainment through the show “Earth Arcade”. Mimi, who is enjoying her first heyday 8 years after her debut, shared, “It was also my first time being a regular cast member on an entertainment show. I didn’t have much interaction with other celebrities”, revealing that she was very shy at the beginning of “Earth Arcade”.

Introducing herself, Mimi, who had never appeared on any variety show before, said, “I’m a mixed Youtube. I’m working as an idol, a Youtuber, and an entertainer at the same time”. Referring to her feeling when receiving the casting call for “Earth Arcade”, she said, “I realized that the world didn’t abandon me”.

Regarding the reason why she opened her Youtube channel “MimPD”, Mimi explained, “During the time when I was confused and worried about what I was doing, I began to find my identity”. “I tried to show my bare face and my easy-going personality from the beginning”, Mimi shared and revealing that her channel became famous gradually and has surpassed 410,000 subscribers. 

Mimi is creating various content on her personal Youtube channel “MimPD” and appearing on entertainment broadcasts, such as tvN’s “Earth Arcade” and JTBC’s “The Second World”.
