WayB‘s leader No:ze will make her first public appearance after the controversy over power abuse.

Earlier, suspicions were raised that No:ze discriminated against small and medium-sized brands by failing to fulfill her contract with them when uploading sponsored posts on her Instagram.

In addition, by deleting all advertisement posts from smaller brands and keeping only posts related to luxury goods, No:ze came under more criticism.

When the allegations first surfaced, No:ze’s agency Starting House denied all the allegations.

However, the agency’s position was reversed within a day.

Starting House said, “We failed to keep the contract period promised in advance with advertising companies due to our carelessness in the above process. In addition, the fact that posts were not uploaded before deadlines or deleted was due to our lack of communication with the artist. We apologize for causing inconvenience and disappointment to advertising companies and fans who support No:ze.”

The agency added, “Our company and the artist have realized the seriousness of this issue and we are reflecting on it.”
