Recently, a video from the 2018 Korean Popular Culture & Arts Awards resurfaced and gained attention. In the video, when asked if there is anyone in the audience she would like to buy a meal for, Son Ye Jin answered BTS.
This question from the MC was in reference to Son Ye Jin‘s drama “Something In The Rain” (Korean title “Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food”), which was very popular at the time. Son Ye Jin revealed that many people around her kept asking her to buy them food, so she jokingly said that she had to avoid meeting people. But when asked to choose someone she was willing to buy food for, she didn’t even hesitate and picked BTS right away. Even though BTS has 7 members, it seems like the actress didn’t mind. Seeing how sweet and generous Son Ye Jin was toward BTS, many netizens wonder if Hyun Bin was jealous.
Perhaps Hyun Bin doesn’t need to be jealous of BTS because in 2018, he revealed in the press conference for “Negotiation” that his co-star often bought meals for him.
