No more Roh Jeong Eui? All “Inkigayo” MCs except one will be replaced

Actress Roh Jeong Eui, along with another MC for the SBS music show “Inkigayo”, will be leaving their posts. 

According to Sports TV News on March 29th, MONSTA X member Hyungwon and actress Kim Ji Eun will succeed Roh Jeong Eui and Seo Beom Jun as “Inkigayo” MCs. However, Kim Ji Eun is said to be hosting only for a short period due to various schedules, including filming her next project, “I Have Waited a Long Time for You”

SBS Inkigayo, which airs every Sunday, is currently hosted by actress Roh Jeong Eui, actor Seo Beom Jun, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER member Yeonjun, creating a three-person system.

Roh Jeong Eui, who is leaving “Inkigayo”, made her debut as a child actress in the 2011 Channel A drama “Bachelor’s Vegetable Store”. She has since appeared in dramas such as “Pinocchio”, “The Flower in Prison”, “Witch at Court”, “Kill It”, “The Great Show”, “18 Again”, and “Our Beloved Summer”.

Roh Jeong Eui is also preparing for the release of the 2023 Disney+ drama “The Witch”, which is based on a comic and depicts the story of a woman called “witch” and the man who loves her.

Meanwhile, actress Kim Ji Eun, who will succeed Roh Jeong Eui as the “Inkigayo” MC, made her debut in 2016 with a commercial and has since appeared in OCN’s “Strangers from Hell” (Hell Is Other People), KBS2’s “Doctor Prisoner”, MBC’s “The Veil”, and SBS’s “Again My Life.” Her most recent work is the SBS drama “One Dollar Lawyer”, where she starred alongside actor Nam Goong Min.

Kim Ji Eun is currently filming ENA drama “I Have Waited a Long Time for You” as her next project. “I Have Waited a Long Time for You” is known as a mystery thriller, which revolves around the rural detective Oh Jin Sang (played by Na In Woo) and Go Young-ju (played by Kim Ji Eun).
