Trending girl group NewJeans is heating up the summer once again with pre-release songs before their comeback.
On July 7th, NewJeans dropped the pre-release tracks “New Jeans” and “Super Shy” from their mini 2nd album.
The new song “New Jeans”, which title is a word play on the group’s name, has a unique composition that alternates between UK garage rhythm and Jersey club rhythm. The addictive melody line also stands out, promising to create another sensation.
The MV of “New Jeans” also gained attention for its collaboration with the iconic cartoon “Powerpuff Girls”. Here, each NewJeans member has their own character who reflects their individuality, making for a cute and lively music video.
