Minji of NewJeans has been simultaneously selected as an ambassador for Chanel Korea in three categories.
On February 14th, ADOR retweeted an article which said, “NewJeans member Minji will be active as an official ambassador for Chanel Korea’s Beauty, Fashion, and Watch & Jewelry, making her the first person to be named for all 3 fields simultaneously.”
At the same time, Minji graced the cover of the March issue of fashion magazine Elle. It is the first time since her debut that the idol has appeared alone on the cover of a magazine.
In this pictorial, which was conducted under the concept of “Minji’s colorful wonderland”, the NewJeans member wore a Chanel look and makeup with a chic and confident attitude.
In her interview with Elle, Minji said, “The best reaction was that I felt good throughout (NewJeans’) performance”, adding, “I’m proud that our energy on stage was actually delivered well.”
On the other hand, despite being rookies, NewJeans members are active as various brand ambassadors and advertising models at both home and abroad.
The group is also doing extremely well in the music field, with both the title song “OMG” and the b-side song “Ditto” in their recent single entering the US Billboard “Hot 100”. At the same time, tracks from their debut album, such as “Hype Boy” and “Attention” also topped various major global charts, drawing attention.
