The new episode of “Boss in the Mirror”, scheduled to air today (July 7th), shows Park Myung-soo being invited to Dongguk University Festival for two consecutive years to perform a celebration stage. At the festival, Park Myung-soo meets Zico to learn the way to captivate MZ audience then encounters NewJeans and Psy.
Before arriving at the festival venue, Park Myung-soo confidently says, “I must be the only singer who performs at a university festival at the age of 53”. After checking the lineup of invited singers and the order of their performances, his face suddenly turns gray.
It is because his name appears on the list between NewJeans and Psy. Immediately, Park Myung-soo scolds Han Kyung-ho, who has been his manager for 19 years, saying “NewJeans performs before me and Psy is right after me?”. The broadcaster draws laughter with his remarks worrying that he may pour cold water on the hot atmosphere raised by NewJeans.
Later, Park Myung-soo meets NewJeans and Psy one after another backstage, showcasing his extraordinary friendship. When Park Myung-soo asks, “When will you guys get paid for performing at this festival?”, NewJeans’s Minji surprises him by replying, “We will donate all the profits from our university festival performances”. Hearing that, Park Myung-soo smiles shyly and says, “I use all the money”.
