NewJeans Hyein proved to be a “successful fan of BTS”.
Recently, a video of NewJeans Hyein during childhood days was re-examined.
In the YouTube channel Pocket TV’s video “Play With Me Club Teamwork Telepathy Game” released in 2019, to the question “Which would Hyein be happier with? Meeting with BTS Jin vs Becoming the fifth member of BLACKPINK“, Hyein chose “Meeting with BTS Jin” without hesitation.
Hyein’s friends also succeeded in telepathy by easily picking out the correct answer as if they knew well that she likes BTS Jin.
In another video, Hyein saw only a collage photo with separate eyes, nose and mouth, but immediately recognized that the person in the photo was Jin. As soon as Hyein saw Jin’s photo, she shouted, “Oh, BTS Jin.” She exclaimed “Those are definitely Jin’s lips. That’s Jin. I really like him” and her face turned red.
Besides, Hyein chose Jin as her favorite K-pop idol in another video, showing off her unwavering affection as a fan.
Meanwhile, Hyein (born in 2008) is 14 years old this year. NewJeans, to which Hyein belongs, is a rookie girl group under the new label ADOR of BTS’ agency HYBE. On July 22nd last year, they appeared like a comet in the music industry and gained explosive popularity right after their debut.
On the other hand, Jin, who is under the same agency as Hyein, was the first BTS member to join the military and is set to be discharged in June next year.
