NewJeans Hanni adorned the cover of fashion magazine ELLE for the special project ‘D Edition.’
On August 4th, the cover featuring Hanni’s image of ‘Young and Cool’ was unveiled on ELLE’s website and social media. The pictorial focused on capturing Hanni’s new look, showcasing a young and free-spirited aura of urban exploration.
Hanni stood confidently before the camera, displaying remarkable concentration and enthusiasm for her new attempt. The 19-year-old Hanni effortlessly pulled off an elegant visual, wearing dresses and showcasing luxurious French jewelry.
Hanni’s cover, moving cover, fashion film, and YouTube film will be released on ELLE’s website and social channels on August 4th and 5th. The full pictorial story will be featured in ELLE’s September issue.
Meanwhile, NewJeans topped the Billboard Main Album Chart within just one year since their debut. According to the latest Billboard chart (dated August 5th), NewJeans’ mini-album ‘Get Up’ entered the top spot on Billboard 200. They became the second K-pop girl group to achieve this feat, after BLACKPINK.
NewJeans also placed all their triple title tracks, including ‘Super Shy,’ on the main single chart ‘Hot 100.’ It’s the first time a K-pop girl group has achieved this with three or more songs on the Hot 100. Overall, among K-pop artists, only BTS had accomplished this before.
