New teaser photos of girl group NewJeans for their 2nd mini album, “Get Up”, have been released, drawing attention.
At midnight on June 28th at midnight, NewJeans revealed the teaser photos of their mini 2nd album “Get Up” on their official SNS channel.
In the photos, NewJeans exuded an elegant and pure charm, wearing chiffon outfits and flats dancing shoes, which embraces the trending “balletcore” style. Moreover, each member also showcased their individuality with different hair accessories, yet displayed a powerful visual synergy while together.
On the other hand, as soon as it was released (June 27th), the MV teaser for one of NewJeans’ new tracks, “ASAP”, immediately reached the top spot on YouTube’s worldwide trending list. In the video, the transformed NewJeans, who boasted blond hair, as well as the dreamy sound, captured the attention of global fans.
As of 8 AM on June 28th, this teaser video has already surpassed 3.25 million views on YouTube, making it the number one trending video on Korean YouTube. It has also reached the 4th spot in the United States’ YouTube trending videos, the world’s largest pop music market.
Meanwhile, NewJeans’ mini 2nd album “Get Up” will be released on July 21st. The album will consist of triple title tracks “Super Shy,” “ETA”, and “Cool With You”, as well as 3 B-sides, including “New Jeans,” “Get Up”, and “ASAP”. All of the songs will have music videos produced.
